A new Fortnite leak suggests that at least 11 skins will be released for Halloween. Every year, Fortnite hosts a variety of events that introduce new cosmetics for players to get. However, Halloween is one of the most popular periods for players of the Epic Games title.
One of the reasons for this is the seasonal event Fortnitemares, which takes place during the Halloween season. Fortnitemares introduces new POIs, limited-time modes, and themed weapons. In 2024, Fortnite introduced Horde Rush mode and five new weapons, one of which was based on Billy from the Saw movie series. The highlight of the Halloween celebration, however, is the release of new scary cosmetics: in 2024, there were 12, including Leatherface, Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Mephisto, the iconic Marvel villain. Halloween is an exciting time with brand-new themed activities and cosmetics, and a leak gives Fortnite players a hint of what’s coming in 2025.
Fortnite Will Get Several New Skins on Halloween, It Is Claimed
On Twitter, well-known Fortnite leaker Shiina claims that at least 11 skins will be released on Halloween 2025. According to the leak shared by them, Epic Games will add a Ghostface and Jason Vorhees skin, along with four or five Scooby-Doo outfits, presumably one for Scooby and others for his friends. The leak also hints at Fortnite getting a skin based on REPO, a popular horror game on Steam in which players team up to recover valuable items while fleeing from scary monsters.
- Ghostface (1 skin)
- Jason Voorhees (1 skin)
- Scooby-Doo (4 to 5 skins)
- REPO (1 skin)
- Mothman (1 skin)
- Butcher Pig (1 skin)
- Grim Hound (Dire Remix) (1 skin)
- Eternal Peely (1 skin)
The other part of the skins teased by the leak indicates cosmetics based on traditional Halloween creatures: the Mothman, and a werewolf with red chain marks, a jacket, and jeans with spikes called Grim Hound (Dire Remix). The list includes a skin called Pig Butcher and a new outfit for Peely, the popular Fortnite character. Named Eternal Peely, user FNAssist clarifies that this will be a brand-new cosmetic, and not the already known Peely Bone skin.
Shiina says there is a chance that Epic Games will add even more skins, but did not give further details on how many and what they might be. Meanwhile, FNAssist says that the Grim Hound outfit will be added in a future update for Fortnite OG Season 6, which is expected to kick off in early October. It is important to note that this information is speculation and should be taken with a grain of salt until an official announcement is made. Since October is not far off, it shouldn’t be long before Fortnite players know more about this year’s Halloween celebrations.
